Markings, surface and structure on live carriageway. The work is done inside a traffic management plan, at night, and the closure is the constraint on everything else.
Removal that does not leave a scar
The lane goes back at daylight.
Grinding a line off leaves the shadow of the line. Water takes thermoplastic, paint and rubber out of the texture without cutting into the chip, so the surface that is handed back is a road surface and not a repair.
